Despite his busy schedule as a journalist and arguably one of the best Voice Over artist of ourtimes, he likes spending time with his family, listening to music, dancing, watching movies and traveling.
In his own style he defends the rights of the oppressed and he is that kind of journalist who doesn't fall for handouts.
He has a strong believe that every opportunity and success comes from the belief of God and hardwork.
Musa is currently the Producer, News Editor and a Continuity Presenter at Radio Sahara 94.3 Fm a regional Swahili radio station in Kisumu and also one of The directors of Durb Radio,an online radio station.
He is also a reporter at radio Africa-radio Jambo and an international media DW Swahili corespondent..

I am God fearing a bit rough but somehow kind and humble and i also respect anyone and everyone with no limits of class.
Do you have a Nickname?
On radio they call me Al-habib which many think is my real name, some mtoto wa mamake Shamimu while others The Grand Master.

I am a graphic artist.Most people have no idea that i can draw ..and i mean very well .

I am a strong believer and practices Islamic religion.

I am married to one wife and blessed with two beautiful daughters.
Who is your greatest
inspiration?
My two kids [Salmah and Najmah] are my source of inspiration and prophet Moses[Musa in the Holy uran] inspires me because of his boldness... i mean this guy could even ask God questions, who does that..hehehe!
Where do you see
yourself in five years?
In Shaa Llah! I see myself working in one of the biggest international media houses as an editor, taking Durb Radio to greater heights and also having a successful business in real estate and hotel industry.
Your favorite animal?
Tiger ,i like the way its calm and still dangerous at the same time.Do you have a pet?
yeah...everyone needs a pet, I love cats.
What's your favorite Meal?
I take it easy, Ugali Omena or fish and a list of Swahili dishes spiced with coconut toppled up with Ukwaju juice.
Who is your favorite person?
I see where you are going with this,on this I have a long list definitely that would be my two beautiful angels (My daughters) my beloved wife and my mothers.
What would you term as your Wow! moment?
The first time I became a farther, then the time I got a call from Dw Swahili to follow up on former president Hussein Obama's visit to Siaya in 2018... they were all dream come true.
Tell us a bit about your Voice Over career?
This is one gift I will simply describe as GOD sent, I mean everyone can talk but not all of us can be Morgan Freeman, Peter Cullen-(Optimus Prime) or even our very own Johnstone Mwakazi.
